For years, I entertained the idea of removing a tremendous amount of excess skin after weight loss surgery. I had appointments with several plastic surgeons and much to my dismay none of them convinced me or made me feel like this procedure was going to be "worth" it. I decided to go to the final consultation at the office of Dr.Polyatskaya, better known as Dr. Kate. The day I met all three of these women was the day I decided that I would proceed with the dream of final sheading this skin. This office was the ONLY office that did not make me feel like I was a disgusting creature, I felt safe. Dr. Kate and her entire nursing staff, Karen and Lori provided an exceptional experience during the process of getting skin removal surgery a decade and a half after gastric bypass. All three of these individuals battled and advocated for me while appealing the insurance company's decision that this was for "cosmetic surgery" after the 3rd appeal, Dr. Kate, Lori and Karen were victorious and insurance ended up helping me cover some of the cost of the procedure. Without this, this would never have been an option and I will forever be greatful. The actual procedures preformed involved meticulous removal of excess skin, and was handled with utmost care and precision. The post-operative care was equally impressive, with regular check-ins and clear instructions for recovery. Despite the pain, Dr. Kate, Lori and Karen made me feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire process and never ever made me feel like a burden. Despite, the daily calls and emails during the recovery process. Without a doubt, Dr. Kate's skill in handling such a delicate and invasive procedure leads me to believe that she would be equally amazing with any form of Plastic/Cosmetic procedures including facial surgeries because she is so meticulous. I will be seeing her and the team again when the time comes. In short, I highly recommend Dr. Kate and her team for anyone considering any type of cosmetic/plastic surgery.

This was my first time getting lip fillers and i was very nervous!! the specialist took her time calming my nerves but also did not push me to get the procedure done. she was very sweet and did not over-do anything. my lips look absolutely wonderful and it completely changed my confidence in my smile. i would (and have been) recommending this place to EVERYONE!!

Izzy was fabulous. I had eye brows and lips permanently colored and I love the results. I would consider liner in the future with her. I also had KTP done for telangiectasia with a different tech. I was mostly happy with the results, although there is still a visible vein on the side of my nose that to me was just a vein that was missed in the treatment. I also had (and still have) two areas of scarring from the procedure. When I called about these two issues remaining I was told I would have to pay again for the one missed vein, and that the scarring was not scarring but probably just hyperpigmentation. I don't know how they knew that via a phone call. When I argued that my face should be looked at regarding my concerns (and I should not have to pay for it), they agreed to give me 5 minutes before her schedule (a month later) for her to look at it. I didn't bother going in. I don't feel my concern was taken seriously and I'm disappointed about that. I could have easily been a 5 star patient with one simple laser zap and an acknowledgment and possibly a recommendation regarding the scars. Instead, I'm left irritated every time I see it. All in all, I would highly recommend Izzy, but think carefully before doing KTP.
