Dr Lee was very thorough. I went in asking to look at a rash/bump on my back. And not only he addressed that but he check all areas of my skin. Making sure there was nothing else needed to be checked. He asked questions and allowed me to speak. Felt I was heard. Most doctors just look at what you write as the complaint. But Dr. Lee and staff went above and beyond. Making it feel I was heard and seen. So I do appreciate that. Staff is amazing, funny and caring. Definitely if I have any other skin concerns I will come back.

I have seen Dr. Joseph Lee a few times now, usually at the Bethesda office, but today I saw him at the Germantown location. The staff there was just as professional and friendly as the staff in Bethesda. I arrived early because I didn’t want to be late due to the weather, traffic, and distance, and Dr. Lee actually saw me ahead of my appointment time. As always, he was highly professional. He reviewed my medical history, asked about my progress with past treatments, listened to my every concern, and handled my new treatments with his usual gentle care. He took his time and never acted rushed, unlike so many other doctors. He truly made me feel heard and well taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Joseph Lee as a very experienced and knowledgeable Dermatologist.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Brendan Pillemer, and I walked away very impressed and optimistic about the plan he put together for me. He asked a lot of probing questions to really understand what I've been dealing with, what treatments I've already tried, and how much improvement, or lack of improvement, I've seen from them. I never felt like he was just looking at the symptoms in front of him and reaching for the next prescription. Dr. Pillemer also has excellent bedside manner. I felt completely comfortable discussing my concerns with him, and he took the time to explain what he was seeing and what he wanted to accomplish with treatment. At one point he said his goal was for us to be saying, "What psoriasis?" when I come back. I understand the realities of medicine and certainly don't expect any guarantees, but that comment still resonated with me. It made me feel like his goal isn't simply to manage my symptoms, but to get me the best result we realistically can. Another thing that stood out was that he wants to see me again in just one month to evaluate my progress and determine how well the new treatment is working. My previous dermatologist typically scheduled follow-ups about six months apart, so having Dr. Pillemer want to reassess things this soon gives me confidence that he's paying attention to the outcome, not just prescribing something and sending me on my way. Obviously, this review is based on an initial appointment and we still have to see how the treatment works, but first impressions matter, and mine was excellent. Dr. Pillemer and his staff made me feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared for. I left the office feeling more optimistic about getting these issues under control than I have in quite some time. I'm looking forward to seeing where we are at my follow-up.

I highly recommend this practice! Everyone on the staff is kind, professional, and genuinely caring. During my most recent appointment, I experienced an unexpected medical issue, and the entire staff was incredibly accommodating, patient, and supportive. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for. I’m so grateful for the compassion they showed me and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dermatology office they can trust.
