Junin Laser Spa

The establishment is very lovely. I came for the first time around 2 yrs ago to receive laser hair removal and I am just recently coming back for more services. It’s a very easy and painless process. Laser changed my life, especially as a PCOS/PMOS girly. I recommended this place. I did purchase my services on groupon, that’s how I originally found this establishment.

I purchased a laser package expecting full coverage of the “large area,” which was explained to include the Brazilian region. However, during treatments, I was informed that the lower v@ginal area will not be lasered. This was confusing and felt misleading, as it wasn’t clearly communicated upfront. It leaves you wondering where you’re supposed to go to complete that part of the service. Another concern is how rushed each session feels. Areas like the underarms and bikini are done in just 2–3 minutes, which makes the experience feel more like a quick turnover than a thorough treatment. It often feels like you’re being hurried along rather than properly attended to. After more than 8 sessions, I’ve also noticed that my hair growth remains largely unchanged—still growing back quickly and normally. This raises questions about the effectiveness of the treatment. While the staff are friendly and welcoming, the actual service didn’t meet my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that prioritizes thorough, results-driven care over speed and surface-level customer service, this may not be the best fit. I still have remaining sessions in my package and will use them, but overall, my experience has been disappointing.

This spa is a GODSEND!! Funmi has by all accounts saved my skin and my life!! My face has never looked so good!! I want to sincerely thank her for wonderful bedside manner, her knowledge of black women and their bodies and the way she makes you feel beautiful and comfortable even when you don’t. Junin Laser Med Spa is definitely the place to be!! I’m so glad to have this beautiful woman looking out for me and my skin!!

I've had laser hair removal done in several areas at Junin. Overall, I've had great results. Having gone to a previous company, paying thousands, and being burned by the laser, I was cautious. But at Junin service was always quick, very reasonably priced, and no burns. No matter what anyone tells you, laser hair removal is NOT permanent, but the hair that eventually grows back is usually scant and fine. Periodic touch ups are recommended, which Junin provides at a low cost.
