Surgery is a big deal, and I’ll admit I was pretty nervous walking into Quintessa Brookfield. Looking back now, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Thayer is incredible. From the moment I met him before surgery, I felt like I was in good hands. He took the time to answer my questions, never made me feel rushed, and gave me so much confidence going into the procedure. I had a tummy tuck, Lipo 360, and breast lift, and even though I’m still healing, I’m already so happy with my results. His work is amazing, and I’m so grateful I trusted him. Hailee was one of the sweetest people I met that day. She has such a calming presence and made me feel cared for from start to finish. It’s amazing how much a little kindness can mean when you’re feeling vulnerable, and she has plenty of it. I also want to thank Suzanne, my anesthesiologist. I’ll be honest being put under anesthesia was one of the things that made me the most anxious. Suzanne immediately put me at ease. She explained everything, answered my questions, and made me feel completely safe. I’m so thankful she was part of my care. Olivia and Kristina were both wonderful too. They were kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Every interaction felt personal, and it was obvious that everyone there truly wants their patients to have the best experience possible. What I’ll remember most isn’t just my results it’s how everyone made me feel. I never felt like “just another patient.” I felt cared for by people who genuinely love what they do. Thank you, Dr. Thayer, Hailee, Suzanne, Olivia, and Kristina, for taking such great care of me. You all made a scary day feel so much easier. To the entire team…consider this a virtual high-five from one VERY happy patient. You truly knocked it out of the park, and I hope you know how much of a difference you make in people’s lives. I expected a high-end experience with noticeable results from Quintessa Aesthetic Center in Brookfield, but my experience with a nearly $2,000 Halo laser treatment left me very disappointed. Months after treatment, I did not see a clear improvement in skin tone or texture. When I raised concerns, the response focused heavily on treatment timelines, additional procedures, and the possibility of needing more sessions rather than addressing my concern about the lack of visible change. I also experienced a major scheduling issue while recovering from a broken foot. My husband had to take time off work to drive me to an appointment while I was on crutches and in a walking boot, only to arrive and learn the appointment had been canceled due to incorrect contact information in their system. I was given two small skincare products afterward but it did not resolve the situation. After investing a significant amount of money, I expected stronger results, clearer communication, and a more patient-focused resolution process than what I ultimately experienced. For an aesthetic center that markets itself as high-end and patient-focused, my expectations were not met given the cost and circumstances. UPDATE June 2026: After posting my initial review, I contacted Quintessa to request a corrective or additional Halo treatment. The clinic reviewed my request and declined to provide additional treatment and informed me they would no longer continue elective services with me. Overall, my expectations for results, communication, and follow-up care were not met given the cost of the procedure, and I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

My friend had two surgical procedures with Dr. Thayer and multiple pre-op consults. Since I was there every time to support her, I got to know Dr. T very well and he was wonderful. Just a few adjectives I would use to describe him are professional, understanding, tolerant, well-spoken, knowledgeable, skillful, courteous, kind, conversant, et al. I have NO hesitation recommending him or Quintessa.

The team at Quintessa and Dr. Jake Thayer, MD were outstanding. From the very beginning—before we even arrived—all the way through our stay and even afterward, the entire experience has been the best we could’ve hoped for. Dr. Thayer’s communication has been consistently excellent, which made everything feel even more reassuring.
