I really liked this office when I first started coming here. I thought the doctor was great, and I appreciated how easy it was to get an appointment. Unfortunately, my experience with the office and prescription management has become incredibly frustrating. For the second month in a row, I have run out of a medication prescribed by this office while waiting for them to process a refill. CVS has contacted them, I have contacted them, and I have called repeatedly asking for an update. This time, I have been without my prescription for over a week and have called every day, yet I still have not received a call back with an update or had the prescription refilled. What made the situation even more frustrating was being told that I had not been seen since February, when I have had three appointments since then, including one about two months ago. The office also canceled an appointment I was supposed to have last week, and then cited not being seen recently as a reason for the refill issue. I completely understand that offices are busy and that prescriptions sometimes require follow-up, but patients should not have to repeatedly call for days or weeks to receive medication that their provider has prescribed. If an appointment or anything else is required before a refill can be issued, that should be communicated clearly and promptly rather than leaving a patient without their medication and without an answer. I genuinely liked the provider and did not want to leave a negative review, but after experiencing the same prescription issue two months in a row, I think this is something the office seriously needs to address. Reliable prescription management and communication are an important part of patient care.

Vivian Lo, PA was great. She was very thorough, listened to everything I had going on, and took the time to explain what she thought was happening and what the next steps should be. I never felt rushed, and she made the whole visit really comfortable and straightforward. I really appreciated how attentive and knowledgeable she was. Highly recommend her.

I'm writing this review after exhausting other ways to resolve a serious billing issue. I just sent a detailed email to the billing department and hope to hear back. My account was sent to collections for $730, even though the underlying insurance claim has an approved IBX appeal on record confirming I owe nothing. I have a voicemail from an IBX representative stating the appeal was approved and that this office would be notified. Nearly a year ago, I was also told by this office that my account was under internal investigation, and I have received no updates since. When I called about the collections referral, staff denied it had happened and told me the account was still under investigation, even though I have documentation with a reference number and timestamp showing the account was, in fact, sent to collections. I have made about fifteen phone calls totaling more than four hours trying to resolve this. I have asked multiple times for the account to be recalled from collections and received no follow-up. When I call for updates, no one can provide one, and I have repeatedly been met with hostility just for asking for some form of a status update. This is not non-payment. I have acted in good faith throughout. Sending an account to collections while an approved insurance appeal and an open internal investigation exist is premature. Prospective patients should be aware of the billing and communication issues at this practice. Beautiful office. Friendly receptionist. The provider who saw me could had been warmer. I was a walk in patient, but kind of felt like I was a bother to her. I get that some people naturally just don’t give off friendly vibes but are friendly in their own heads, but still…
