I scheduled this appointment because I am noticing signs of aging and wanted a baseline assessment of my skin along with guidance on a plan moving forward. I stated this verbatim as the primary reason for my visit on my intake forms, to the staff member who took my history, and again to the PA. During the appointment, I was asked about my skin history and specific concerns. As part of that history, I mentioned a condition that has been stable and unchanged for more than 10 years. Unfortunately, the PA focused almost exclusively on that issue rather than freshly evaluating my skin, which was the reason I had come in. I left feeling that my primary concern — preventative care for aging skin — was never really addressed. I was open to any cosmetic procedure and hoping for an overall assessment, but that conversation never happened. I enjoyed speaking with the PA and am sure she is excellent, but the appointment did not align with the purpose I clearly communicated multiple times, and I ultimately canceled my follow-up visit.

This was my first visit with Dr. Chen. She is warm, caring, compassionate, and very supportive. I felt comfortable, and unlike most doctors I have been to, she seemed genuinely interested and concerned about my feelings as well as my skin concerns. It was so nice to be treated more like a good friend than "just another patient". Also unlike most doctors, it was great to look into her eyes as we spoke instead of watching her stare at her tablet like my other doctors tend to do. She is a rare find. If you are looking for a new dermatologist, I suggest you make an appointment and see for yourself.

I can't recommend Dr. Chen enough! She is incredibly caring and knowledgeable. I went to her for anti-aging facial treatments and a skin cancer screening, and I’ve never felt more confident in my skin. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. Since then, I’ve referred several friends to her, and they’ve all been equally impressed with their treatments and the care they received. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dermatologist!

I was nervous because the last dermatologist I saw seemed to be only about Money and not in helping me at all. My Visit at White Pebble Dermatology with Junnan Chen, PA-C was amazing. She addressed every single one of my concerns and took her time to answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed. I felt heard and confident that I would see results. The staff were friendly , the atmosphere was calm and the office was very clean and well kept. I highly recommend. I will be continuing my care with White Pebble Dermatology with Junnan Chen, PA-C.
