I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. I was treated by Mariella Purvis earlier this year for a persistent forehead skin condition. I was diagnosed with rosacea and treated accordingly. Despite repeat visits (3 visits total over the span of 2 months) and telling her that my forehead continued to worsen and that my treatment was causing significant burning and irritation, her prescribed treatments continued along the same path. My appointments were also extremely rushed. My visits often lasted less than five minutes, and I left feeling like my concerns weren't fully heard or that enough time had been taken to reassess why my condition continued to worsen despite treatment. After seeking a second opinion from another dermatologist, I was given a different diagnosis. My treatment was changed and over the following months, my forehead improved dramatically. It is now virtually clear with no active spots. I understand that dermatologic diagnoses can sometimes change, but I was disappointed that my worsening condition did not lead to a reassessment of the diagnosis sooner. Those months were extremely stressful and had a significant impact on my quality of life. I hope this feedback encourages the practice to listen carefully when patients report that their condition is worsening despite treatment and to remain open to reconsidering the diagnosis when the clinical course doesn't fit.

I recently visited Dr. Nina Schram for my son’s dermatology appointment, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive—she truly listened to all of my sons concerns and immediately provided a clear, effective treatment plan. Her entire staff was just as wonderful. From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming and professional. The nurse who assisted us was especially sweet and gentle, which made the whole visit so much easier and comforting for my son. Dr. Schram is the best. She is kind, understanding, and always makes me feel comfortable. All of the office staff are efficient and attentive. Easy scheduling, limited wait time, and painless prescription pickups.
