Luxura Aesthetic Medical Spa

My service on Sunday was a promotional Anti-Aging Facial, and I found the promotional price of $79 to be reasonable. I understand that the standard, non-promotional price is approximately four times that amount. The location and ambiance were excellent, and the overall setting was relaxing and inviting. As someone over the age of 70 who has incorporated professional facial treatments into my skincare routine four to six times per year since my 30s, I have considerable experience with such services. Unfortunately, the facial treatment at Luxura did not meet my expectations in several important respects. Prior to the appointment, I participated in a virtual consultation. While I appreciated this preliminary step, it did not replace the need for an in-person skin assessment by the esthetician using a magnifying lamp. No such lamp was available in the treatment room, nor was there a handheld mirror. In addition, no heated treatment table, robe, or wrap was provided. As a result, my neck and shoulders were neither properly exposed nor included in the treatment. I found myself repeatedly adjusting my tank top to allow the esthetician access to the area beneath my chin when applying heated towels. Throughout the service, the esthetician did not offer any observations regarding the condition of my skin before or after the treatment. As products were applied, there was no explanation of what was being used or the intended benefits of the products. I also requested extractions, as I had been informed by the reception staff that they were included in the service. At one point, I asked whether the esthetician observed any stray hairs on my chin. The response was, “No, I did not feel any.” I politely noted that such hairs are generally seen rather than felt. At the conclusion of the treatment, I expected to be asked about the condition of my skin and to be provided with a mirror to review the results, as is customary in my experience. When I requested a mirror, I was informed that none was available and was instead directed to a full-length mirror located in the corner of the dimly lit room. Great experience! My HydraFacial was relaxing and left my skin feeling refreshed, smooth, and glowing. The staff was professional and welcoming.

If I could give a negative # I would. Run away. Do not book an appt. I booked 2.5 weeks in advance for July 3(kicking off the holiday by treating myself, and taking advantage new customer promo) Since I booked, Every other day I received text notification reminding me of my 11am appt. 7/3. It was getting close to spam On 7/2 I received an email notification that my appt was cancelled, still while receiving text to complete paperwork online and arrive 15 mins early. Mix messages! I called early morning of the 3rd, and they said someone called in sick, but they had an opening at 1:15. Great Booked! I arrived at 1pm( 15 mins for paperwork as requested) The receptionist did not greet me or welcome me as a new customer or even a paying customer. When I asked for Water(it was 103 outside) I was told they were all out of water. I was never even offered tab water, as an option. I did not ask, as I was now at 1:12p for my 1:15appt. At 1:14, I see the facialist taking some in for a treatment. At 1:20, I asked how much longer as my appt was 1:15, and I've been waiting 20 mins. Receptionist just said that they just took another client back and it could be 45-60 mins before my appt. I asked if this was a case of double booking. I was told, no just running behind. At 1:28, I said Im leaving. That my time is just as valuable and that I was not pushing back on my other plans for the day. I had a confirmed appt that the salon did not honor. Not only not honor it but expected me to give up my day and hold me hostage for my time. 2 hours later, I received a text message to ROBIN( my name is not ROBIN) Sorry they missed me and understand that unexpected changes arise. I text back... I was there. Where were you. A) my name is not Robin. B) I arrived at 1 o'clock early enough to complete the paperwork. C) I asked for some water and your receptionist told me you didn't have any D) I waited until 1:35 for my 1:15 appointment and was told you had just taken in another person. I saw you take her in at 1:12. Why would you book me if you were not available? You hammered me with spam to make sure I made my appointment on time and yet you wasted 35 minutes of my time. Your receptionist could not answer any questions at her constant statement "I'm just a receptionist was getting tiresome." I will share my experience with others. FYI- the Ladies in the Jewelry store that share a building were great to let me blow off steam. They heard my story many times over from others.
